Dear Conference Registrant:

Thank you for registering for the EVI2019 “The annual Israeli EV meeting” on Tuesday December 10th, 2019, in the Goldman Auditorium on the campus of the faculty of Health Sciences, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Beer-Sheva. We look forward to see you all!

 

Below are important reminders for the conference:

 

Meeting Room Location

The conference will take place at the Goldman Auditorium of the Faculty of Health Sciences (Google map link).

 

Getting to the meeting

We strongly advise to get to the meeting by train/bus, rather than by car, due to parking limitations. The train station is located right outside the campus. Allow a short 5-8 minutes’ walk until you get to a warm cup of coffee.

 

Onsite Registration

Our staff will be at the Registration desk beginning at 8:00 a.m. registered attendees may obtain their conference badges, conference Program, and other important information at this location. Onsite Registration, including payment for registration, will be available throughout the conference, but might be limited to credit cards only.

 

Instructions for oral presentations:

Each talk (except for the keynote) will be a total of 20 minutes (17 minutes for your presentation, plus 3 minutes for discussion).

As a guide, please use one slide per one minute of talk time and avoid the use of introductory slides.

A computer will be available to load your presentations. You may bring your presentation on a USB drive. We ask that you upload your presentation with the help of the audiovisual technician in the conference hall room the morning of your talk before your session starts to upload and test that your presentation appears as intended. If you have any questions, the staff at the registration desk can assist.

 

Instructions for poster presentations:

Posters must be no larger than (122 cm X 90 cm) portrait (vertical orientation). Double-sided poster boards will be provided with push-pins to hang your poster.

All posters will be reviewed by a designated committee. Presenters are expected to stand by their poster during lunch-time. “Best poster presentation” awards will be announced at the end of the event.

 

 

Photographing posters for personal use is allowed only if permission is obtained from the presenter. If you are presenting a poster and do not want your poster to be shared on social media, you must add a “DO NOT POST” tag to the poster.

 

Conference Meals and Social Events

Conference badges are required for lunch and coffee breaks. All food and drinks will be served in the Caroline building next to the auditorium.
